Progress Report: Weddings!


Hey everyone!

I'm happy to announce that Knightblade's development is going very well! My computer actually died in the middle of working on it late one night, but thankfully I work from a memory card and I'm always uploading copies of the game online as a backup so no progress was lost. After purchasing a new computer, development really sped up. I've finally finished the marriage and dating system. Players will play a fun medieval-themed card game in a casino in one of the many towns in the game, and they will earn gems that can be used to woo potential spouses. It's a much more fun and laid back approach to dating versus what you see in a game like Stardew where you are constantly looking up a wiki to gift someone obscure items. Instead dating takes place all in one room, and focuses on getting to know each candidate and deciding who you will award your precious gems to.

Before I close this update out, I'd like to confirm that we are still on target for a March 31st release, pending any delays from Steam's approval etc.
